Cancer Patients & Survivors
Live Life Fearlessly
2 Miles In The Sky
What We Do and Why
We want to give cancer patients and cancer survivors an extraordinary experience that brings them courage and confidence ... so we take them skydiving. Fear and uncertainty are very common with cancer patients and survivors, and skydiving empowers people with strength they never thought possible.
It is estimated that 40% of Americans will be diagnosed with cancer sometime during their life. Imagine the feeling someone has when they hear this diagnosis. It is a feeling of fear, loneliness, helplessness, and doubts about their future. People diagnosed with cancer need to have encouragement about the battle they are facing, whether it be before or after treatment.
Why does 2 Miles of Smiles provides this unique adventure activity for cancer patients and survivors? Because skydiving helps them face their fears, and it can be a powerful tool in helping those living with cancer find the strength to live life fearlessly with hope and optimism.
"Fear should never keep you from living
the life you've dreamed of."

History of 2 Miles of Smiles
The vision for 2 Miles of Smiles emerged on September 3, 2006, when the Founder witnessed Seth Darnell, a cancer patient, skydiving on his 18th birthday.
Watching the joy and radiant smile on Seth's face as he prepared to go skydiving was awe-inspiring. Then seeing the empowerment and excitement for life that he gained after the skydive, provided the vision of what skydiving could do for other cancer patients and survivors.
